Filling and packaging machines were updated

Due to significant redesign of the vertical packaging machine, NOTIS decided to introduce a new version into its product range from August 1, 2009: MDU-NOTIS-02M-520.

Main differences

1. A single quick-change non-adjustable forming tube and shoulder unit.
2. The horizontal sealing jaws are driven by a lever mechanism with an SMC rotary pneumatic cylinder. This increased jaw pressure above 300 kg and reduced compressed air consumption more than sevenfold.
3. The film unwinding system is placed on a movable carriage. The carriage can automatically move left and right relative to the fixed forming shoulder. This reduces changeover time when changing rolls and minimizes film waste.

Thus, the current NOTIS vertical machine range for film widths up to 420 and 520 mm includes:

1. • MDU-01M-E-420: economy-class vertical filling and packaging machine with constant-heated sealing jaws;
   • MDU-01-E-420: economy-class impulse vertical filling and packaging machine.
2. • MDU-01M-420/520: vertical filling and packaging machine with constant-heated sealing jaws;
   • MDU-01-420/520: impulse vertical filling and packaging machine.
3. • MDU-02M-520: upgraded filling and packaging machine with constant-heated sealing jaws;
   • MDU-02-520: upgraded impulse filling and packaging machine.
