Tablets are loaded into the receiving hopper of the stack former. A vibratory feeder spreads them in one layer onto a screening plate. The tablets enter a track made of 10 pockets, align into neat rows and move along a vibrating tray to a rotary mechanism. There, rows of 10 tablets are transferred to the MGU-NOTIS-135 horizontal flow wrapper.
The flow wrapper forms a tunnel from roll film. Tablet stacks move into the wrapped film on a conveyor, and the machine seals the package. This package type is called Flow Pack.

Stack packaging for round candies
Hard candy, cough drops and similar disk-shaped confectionery
The same packaging system is well suited for disk-shaped hard candies with a straight edge. The machine forms these candies into cylindrical stacks and tightly wraps them in polypropylene film.
For example, we manufactured such equipment for a large hard candy producer from Novosibirsk. The video shows successful testing in the NOTIS assembly shop using the customer product and test film. The task was to automate stacks of 10 candies with an output of 60 packs per minute.
Group packaging
For delivery to stores, customers place Vitamin C tablet packs into branded paper boxes. A tray is formed from a blank, filled with packs and closed, then the boxes are placed into transport corrugated cases. The full process is shown in the video above.

Another group packaging option is a shared flow pack for several individual packs. One customer, for example, groups 14 Vitamin C tablet packs into one package.
