Buying packaging equipment for the first time? This section explains not only our terms, but also what you should ask any manufacturer before making a deal.

All NOTIS equipment is manufactured to order. Production time depends on the selected packaging solution. After manufacturing and testing, we notify you that the equipment is ready. If you wish, we will be glad to demonstrate it in operation at our assembly area. Then we pack your order into crates on pallets. After full payment, we load it onto your transport. If required, our specialists visit your facility for supervised installation and commissioning. As a result, high-tech packaging machines work at your facility and help your business make profit.

Production Timeline

Production usually takes 2 to 5 months and depends on several factors.

• Order size: from one filler to an automated line for a confectionery factory
• Factory workload: we can usually complete orders faster in summer

You can help speed up production by sending the requested product samples for testing on time. Time passes quickly, and before long your facility will be filled with the steady rhythm of packaging.

Buyer tip. When choosing a manufacturer, ask what responsibility they accept for missing deadlines. In the market, unrealistically short lead times are sometimes quoted with only a small penalty for months of delay.

Payment

We normally use a 50/50 payment schedule: the first half is paid when the contract is signed, and the second half when we notify you that the equipment is ready.

If needed, we can work with a leasing company. Over the years we have cooperated with dozens of financial organizations and sign many leasing contracts every year. Call us and we will discuss the options.

Buyer tip. Ask whether delivery and the engineer visit are included in the contract price. These costs are often invoiced separately after the contract has already been signed.

Please specify what product you need to package, the expected fill weights, the package type, and the location of your facility. In response, we will quickly prepare a commercial offer with a description of the packaging line, the equipment set with specifications and prices, and a reference list for your region.

Information about your request will remain confidential. We will not bother you with extra questions about whether you have reviewed our offer.

Production

NOTIS is a full-cycle manufacturer. We design and manufacture equipment ourselves at our factory in Berdsk. This approach allows us to control quality at every production stage and continuously improve our machines. We also develop our own filling automation algorithms, electronics and software.

Buyer tip. Ask the manufacturer who makes the key components: electronics, software and mechanics. If the machine is assembled from third-party components, clarify how service and spare parts will be handled if a supplier has problems.

Testing

At the final stage of equipment production, we always conduct testing. This is done either on the customer product or on an equivalent product if the customer cannot provide samples. All tests are recorded on video. The project is accepted after approval by a dedicated quality commission.

Buyer tip. Manufacturers often specify the theoretical maximum speed on an ideal product. In practice, packaging can be slower: the product may jam, or seal quality may suffer. Ask whether the speed on your product is fixed in the contract, and what happens if it is not achieved.

Delivery

As soon as the equipment successfully passes testing, we notify you that it is ready and pack it into crates on pallets. The order can be collected immediately after final payment.

We will provide the dimensions and weight of the crates. We load the crates onto your transport or onto the truck of a transport company.

Launch

Launching complex equipment usually requires a visit by our commissioning engineer to your facility. The engineer performs supervised installation, setup and launch, and trains your specialist.

Starting the equipment yourself before the engineer arrives may void the warranty. If you need to perform commissioning on your own, be sure to agree this with us in advance.

Buyer tip. Clarify in advance: the engineer visit schedule, who handles visa matters if you are in another country, who pays for accommodation, and what accommodation requirements apply.

After-Sales Service

The warranty period is usually 1 year. All our customers receive free consultations and help with troubleshooting even years after purchase. Contact our support team by phone, WhatsApp or email.

The heads of the service department, commercial department, export department and sales department work in one large open-plan office. All customer communication happens in one place. This helps us stay informed and respond quickly to any questions.

Buyer tip. Ask how quickly you can contact an engineer directly, and whether spare parts are available for older models. Some manufacturers discontinue support for machines, leaving the owner alone with the problem.
