High-Accuracy VFFS Machines with 4-Head Two-Stage Weighers for Piece-Form and Frozen Products

MDU-NOTIS-06M/05M-4Head-K-(MP)-2K machines automatically weigh and package piece-form or frozen products in doses up to 3000 g into formed bags from roll film. Not intended for polyethylene films.

  The machine is designed for high-accuracy weighing and packaging of piece-form and frozen food and non-food products into bags made from polypropylene film, laminated films and laminated paper. It is optimal for difficult-to-pack products such as bay leaves and wrapped candy. A polyethylene film version is not available for 4-head machines.

  The 05M is the latest generation with a more advanced design and optional film width up to 600 mm.

Advantages of MDU-NOTIS-05M over MDU-NOTIS-06M:

1. Quick-change forming tube and collar unit
2. Increased pressure on sealing jaws
3. Film unwinding system on a movable carriage.
4. Maximum film width is 600 mm instead of 460 mm.

A flexible self-adjusting filling system provides high accuracy and speed. NOTIS control algorithms make the accuracy and speed of 4-head linear weighers comparable to more expensive multi-head weighers.

K-MP version for frozen products

• The receiving hopper has a double wall to prevent condensation.
• Weigh buckets are made of corrugated steel to prevent sticking.

2K — Two-Stage Design

This is a tray design in which the product stream passes through two stages. After the main part of the dose is filled, the lower stage closes, and the remaining dose is gently topped up through the upper narrow stage to reach the set weight.

The two-stage weigher design makes it possible to fill with an error of no more than half the weight of one product piece.
