A VFFS machine with a multi-head weigher is designed for fast and accurate weighing of dry products and subsequent packaging into bags formed from roll film.
The machine can run polypropylene film, laminated films and laminated paper.
Warranty: 1 year.
Configuration
The machine consists of a multi-head weigher (see Options / Multi-Head Weighers) and a VFFS packaging machine (see Options / VFFS Base Machine). It can also include a frame with stairs and a service platform for the weigher. NOTIS designs and manufactures both multi-head weighers and VFFS packaging machines in-house.

Unlike typical control schemes used in combination weighers, NOTIS multi-head weigher control is based on efficient use of two separate computer systems. One system processes data in real time, while the second Windows-based system provides a familiar operator interface, improving usability of the equipment.
Advantages
- Our own ADC module is built around a 24-bit AD7799 converter from Analog Devices, a recognized leader in analog-to-digital converters. The ADC module measures dynamic weight at up to 500 measurements per second.
- The ADC hardware and software remove the need for frequent systematic calibration of weighing channels. Calibration once a year is sufficient.
- NOTIS multi-head weigher actuators have no hazardous voltage. The power section runs on 24 V, and total power consumption of the entire power section is no more than 200 W. Efficient control of stepper motors and vibratory feeders made it possible to eliminate a cabinet with high-power supplies and heat-dissipation systems.
