Pillow bag
Formed on any vertical packaging machine, including the most budget models.
The bag has three seals: two horizontal seals at the top and bottom, and one vertical longitudinal seal. The film can be polypropylene, different laminated films including paper-laminated film, or polyethylene depending on the machine version. Date marking
The date is printed on the package in a fixed position by a dedicated printer. A cheaper alternative is embossing the date into the film.

An automated bag-in-box line can additionally pack one or several bags into a carton. The product can also be packed directly into a carton without an inner bag. Bag-in-box is often selected for instant products and cereals.
