The main advantage of our horizontal machine over all Russian and many imported machines is the use of four independent electric drives: infeed conveyor, film pulling and sealing rollers, transverse sealing jaws, and discharge conveyor. Mechanically independent drives simplify and shorten changeover when switching from one product to another, simplify the mechanics and eliminate many transmission mechanisms.
MGU-NOTIS horizontal flow wrappers are fully electronically controlled and designed for packaging piece products in heat-sealable films.
Modes are controlled by a controller that diagnoses machine status and allows all main packaging machine parameters to be set programmatically without mechanical changeover:
- change package length;
- change output;
- synchronize drive operation;
- synchronize packaging machine speed with the entire production line.
Changeover time for switching from one size to another: 2 minutes. Product sizes can be programmed, with 10 preset programs.
The warranty for horizontal packaging machines, as for all NOTIS packaging equipment, is 2 years.

The machine also uses three pairs of pulling rollers, which significantly improves pulling reliability and uniformity and therefore longitudinal seal quality.
Additional MGU-NOTIS features
- equipped with a steel hot date coder for applying the date on the transverse package seal;
- all product-contact surfaces are made of stainless steel, including covers and guards.
A range of options is also available, as well as a synchronous loading line for automatic feeding of piece products from the production line into the horizontal machine.
Modifications
- MGU-NOTIS-135: for relatively small piece products such as candy, chocolate, glazed curd snacks, confectionery and non-food piece products. Output 20-160 packs per minute.
- MGU-NOTIS-150: for medium-size piece products such as ice cream, waffles and cookies. Output 20-130 packs per minute.
- MGU-NOTIS-180/210: for large piece products such as bakery products, pan bread and non-food piece products. Output 20-100 packs per minute.
