Assembly Shop — July 2026: What Packaging Machines Is NOTIS Building Right Now - News

July 22, 2026

From bread slicing machines to packaging lines for sugar, grains, charcoal, and fragile snacks. Take a look at the NOTIS equipment currently being built for customers across Russia and Belarus.

Today, the Russian industrial equipment market is going through a challenging period. Manufacturers are making investment decisions more cautiously and evaluating equipment suppliers more carefully than ever.

That is why we believe it is important to show not only finished machines during factory acceptance tests, but also the production process itself. The assembly shop provides a clear picture of what is really happening: which projects are currently in progress, where new orders are coming from, and why customers return to NOTIS for new equipment.

Assembly Shop — July 2026

Every machine shown in this video is being built to order. Some projects have just entered assembly, while others are already undergoing factory acceptance testing before shipment.

Three Bread Slicing Machines on the Assembly Floor

And several more are on the way

At the time of filming, three MNH-01-NOTIS bread slicing machines were on the assembly floor. They are designed to cut loaves of bread into slices, sticks, or cubes.

One machine was ordered by a snack manufacturer from Tomsk. The other two are being built for a major Moscow-based producer of bread snacks whose brand is well known throughout Russia.

This is a long-standing NOTIS customer. The company's production facility already operates our vertical form fill seal packaging machines together with OPP-NOTIS seasoning systems.

This time, the customer ordered three additional MNH-01-NOTIS machines. At the time of filming, the third unit had not yet reached the assembly shop. Four machines of the same model had already been supplied to this customer in previous years.

A New Sugar Brick-Pack Line for a Returning Customer

Sugar Brick-Pack Line During Factory Testing

A fully automated sugar brick-pack line is currently being assembled for a food manufacturer in Barnaul.

The operator loads sugar from bags into a receiving hopper positioned at a comfortable waist-high level. From that point, the line automatically doses the product, forms compact brick-shaped packs, and bundles multiple packs together by wrapping them in polyethylene film. The result is a convenient transport bundle ready for palletizing.

The customer continues to operate two similar NOTIS lines commissioned in 2017 and 2018. The new generation offers higher throughput, producing up to 60 packs per minute with pack weights from 800 to 1,000 grams. We guarantee this performance for all types of grains and cereals.

Grain Packaging in Bags up to 15 kg

A grain processing company from Dagestan ordered a large MDU-NOTIS-820 vertical packaging machine together with a conveyor system.

The system is designed for industrial packaging of grains and other free-flowing products into large bags weighing up to 15 kg. For this customer, the project marks the beginning of its cooperation with NOTIS.

A Charcoal Packaging Line

Another first-time customer from Tomsk ordered a packaging line for filling pre-made bags with charcoal in weights ranging from 3 to 15 kg.

At the heart of the system is the DVDD-NOTIS-30-GPM weighing machine. Once a bag has been filled, it is automatically transferred to the bag sewing station.

Charcoal is a challenging product to weigh accurately because of its irregular particle size and high dust content. That is why NOTIS weighing machines for this application incorporate specialized design features and have been successfully operating at charcoal production facilities for many years.

The New Generation of Multihead Weigher

A packaging line based on the DVK-NOTIS multihead weigher is currently being assembled for a manufacturer of fragile breadsticks and crackers.

The project features the new 2026 generation of the DVK-NOTIS multihead weigher. Its upgraded control system improves weighing accuracy while increasing throughput and maintaining gentle product handling.

The integrated vertical form fill seal machine will produce premium Quattro bags with four-side sealing. This package format provides excellent shelf appearance while helping the bag retain its shape.

Another Packaging Line for Crispbread

Watch Our Latest Crispbread Packaging Line

Recently, we showed the commissioning of a NOTIS packaging line built for one of Russia's leading crispbread brands. Another similar line is now being assembled for a major manufacturer based in Tambov.

The company's products are distributed throughout Russia and exported to neighboring countries. The new line is being engineered specifically for the customer's crispbread formats and production requirements.

Repeat Orders for Horizontal Flow Wrappers

The First Flow Wrapper Delivered to an Electrical Equipment Manufacturer in Belarus

The video also shows the frame of a horizontal flow wrapping machine being built for an electrical equipment manufacturer from Belarus.

The customer purchased its first MGU-NOTIS-03 Servo horizontal flow wrapper in 2023. The machine fully met expectations in packaging quality, productivity, and ease of operation.

Over the past three years, the customer has purchased four machines of this model.

Over the past three years, the customer has purchased four machines of this model. Two more are currently in production. In industrial equipment manufacturing, repeat orders remain one of the strongest indicators of real-world performance and customer confidence.

An Affordable Flow Wrapper for Bakery Products

A MGU-NOTIS-NK-375 inclined horizontal flow wrapper is currently being built for a bakery in Rostov-on-Don.

This is an affordable version of our horizontal flow wrapping machine designed for bakery products and other individual items. The inclined configuration simplifies product feeding and makes it possible to build a compact packaging line.

Every Machine Starts with a Customer's Project

NOTIS Technologies Tailored to Your Production

The July video features new and returning customers, standalone machines and complete packaging lines, and projects for companies from Tomsk, Moscow, Barnaul, Dagestan, Tambov, Rostov-on-Don, and Belarus. Thanks to the trust of our customers, NOTIS continues to develop new equipment, improve existing solutions, and design machines for an increasingly wide range of production applications.

NOTIS has been designing and manufacturing packaging and food processing equipment since 1992. We develop our own mechanical systems, electronics, and software, conduct factory acceptance tests using customers' products, and continue supporting every machine after commissioning.

If your company is looking for a standalone machine or a complete packaging line, tell us about your project.
