A pillow, gusseted or flat-bottom bag is formed on a vertical packaging machine and then closed with a clip.
The bag has three seals: two horizontal seals and one vertical longitudinal seal. Film can be polypropylene, laminated film including paper-laminated film, or polyethylene depending on the machine version. Bag size and seal recommendations are available in Technical Resources, see flat-bottom bag.
