NOTIS Screw Doser Advantages
The MFDSH-NOTIS-50 was designed for precise handling of dry, dusty materials. The screw rotates to deliver an initial rough dose. Then, using a proprietary NOTIS algorithm, a precise top-up is added to achieve an accurate final dose.
To prevent product from sticking to the hopper walls, we use vibration motors and pneumatic aerators that effectively prevent product bridging. For particularly challenging materials (not potato flakes, but egg powders and similar products), we offer a cone-shaped hopper with a rotating agitator, which makes handling sticky products significantly easier.
Screw doser for dusty products
After dosing is complete, bags are sent to the bag sewer. Potato flakes typically don't require additional settling in the bag. But if needed, we can offer a vibro-compactor with an outfeed conveyor PPL-KO-01-NOTIS-M5-VU. This option automatically settles heavy bags and moves them aside for sewing. Bag sewing machines can be sourced independently, or we can integrate partner equipment into our packaging line.
